A distraction-free desktop thinking space for poetic composition.
Verso is built on Electron, React, and ProseMirror around five distinct composition modes — from a plain distraction-free page to Fragment mode, a physics-based canvas where lines can be dragged, rotated, and merged with real weight and motion. Underneath sits a set of tools most poetry software skips entirely: real-time phoneme analysis, etymology and phonetic-neighbor lookups, and a full time-lapse of every draft's history.
Features

—Breath Panel — live phoneme analysis surfacing assonance, alliteration, and stress patterns as you write

—Time-Lapse Player replays a poem's entire edit history, with every deleted line recoverable from the Witness archive
